Vanilla Oleoresin

This particular substance is a semi-solid concentrate, created created by taking vanilla extract and removing the solvent. Most of the flavor and aroma is removed when creating vanilla oleoresin. However, it will keep the essential oils of the vanilla bean. As this particular substance is highly concentrated, it is important to use low amounts of vanilla oleoresin. This particular oleoresin is not edible and is, in fact, used in other ways:

  • Shampoos
  • Conditioners
  • Soaps
  • Candles
  • Lotions

It is very popular in the skin care and hygeine industry because of the amazing aroma it gives off. It is also popular for use when creating air fresheners and perfumes.
