Spray-dried tea products can be kept and moved in large quantities in the same way as other dry goods. Along with being rehydrated in water or other beverages to add flavor, they are sometimes used as a dry ingredient in baking and cooking.
The flavor of tea can enhance a variety of food and beverage products throughout the flavor industry, including but not limited to:
- Dry rubs
- Wet marinades and barbecue sauces
- Hot or cold milk or water
- Tea blends
Green tea varieties can be used to mix with citrus and other light ingredients, as in beverages, and black tea can add body to heavier flavors. There are few limits when it comes to the ways in which tea flavors such as these can be used.
