Amber scents are often considered animalistic and use ambergris or labdanum combined with vanilla, flowers, and woods. Woody scents are made with fragrant items that are tree-based like agarwood and cedarwood. Patchouli is also found in these types of fine fragrances for men. Leather scents have fragrances of honey, wood, and tobacco. It gets its name from having a scent that resembles leather. Perhaps the most common family of fine fragrances for men is fougère, and these kinds of fine fragrances have a base of lavender, coumarin, and oakmoss. It has an herbal and woody scent. While these are among the most common ingredients for men’s fragrances, they are by no means the only great fragrances that can be used to create these products.
