Tea Essence

Unlike concentrates that are more likely to be used for beverages, tea essences are often used in baking.

Sweetened tea essence is either blended in with other ingredients or used as a glaze at the end of the baking process. Along with glazing, they can also be used in sweets, including cakes, cookies, and other pastries.

Tea essences are sometimes used to build drinks as well. They can be mixed with other beverages, including other types of tea in order to build or replenish their natural flavors. They can also easily be stored and used on a large scale.

The typical production method is to steep tea leaves directly in boiling water, then strain out the leaves and keep the remaining essence to be diluted into other beverages.
